About Christensen Hearing Center

The staff at Christensen Hearing Center is dedicated to providing the best hearing health care possible. With state of the art technology we are capable of providing an in depth analysis of your hearing and will work with you to establish a plan to address your needs.

Because we are a small practice, we provide old fashioned care. We understand the importance of family and friends and we fit the best technology so you may continue to experience a better quality of life. Building long term relationships is our priority so that we can better understand and address your hearing needs.

Carmen Morris, B.A.

 

Carmen MorrisCarmen Morris, B.A. received her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders in 2002 from California State University, Los Angeles. She became a licensed hearing aid dispenser in 1985.

Carmen is the owner and the licensed hearing instrument specialist for Christensen Hearing Center. She has over 20 years experience in the hearing aid field and is an expert in hearing aid fittings and skilled in minor hearing aid repairs. Her special interest is working with our geriatric population. She has loyal clients that have been consulting with her for over twenty years. Carmen is very caring and dedicated to her profession. She understands the emotional and individual needs of each client and her goal is to ensure the highest standard of service and patient satisfaction.

Carmen is bilingual and provides excellent service to Spanish speaking clients.

Carmen is an active parent involved in her children’s soccer games, music concerts and academic endeavors. She’s actively involved in church and community service.

Sherrie L. Hoglin, Au.D.

 

Sherrie L. Hoglin, Au.D., received her Masters degree in Communicative Disorders in 1971 from the University of Southern California. She received a second Masters degree in Educational Administration in 1982 from California State University, Los Angeles, and her Doctoral degree from A.T. Still University (Arizona School of Health Sciences) in 2003.

Sherrie is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is credentialed in California for Audiology Rehabilitation Services and Administrative Services, and is licensed for Audiology and Hearing Aid dispensing. Sherrie has been awarded three Academic Achievement Awards by the American Academy of Audiology and three Academic Achievement Awards for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Over the past 34 years, Sherrie has provided Audiology services to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and schools, and she has been a lecturer for college sound technology programs. Her specialties include pediatric audiology, professional presentations, and central auditory processing evaluations.
